Sand blasted and ebonized briar pipe

Sculpted completely freehand using strawberry briar and vulcanite for the stem, it has been sandblasted to give it a textured, almost topographical feel, and then ebonized to blacken it. This is a pipe that may already look old, but with use it’ll start to pickup little highlights from how and where you hold it, creating a beautiful visual story of the life it will live.
