Frequently Asked Questions

Blade care:

the knives I make are carbon steel and as such will rust if not cared for properly. Luckily, prevention is very easy. After extended use, or after washing your knife, make sure to dry it off well and then give it a light coat of oil. If it’s just a general edc, sword, or dagger, just use whatever oil you have around, be it gun oil, WD40, or cooking oil. If it is for food however, I would just use whatever oil you cook with.

Edge maintenance:

in most cases any dullness is a result of a very light roll on your cutting edge, to take care of that I generally just use a ceramic rod to hone the edge back to true. If you need anything more serious than that for any reason, I prefer diamond stones above most all else. Just be mindful that with many of my blades they are accurate to historical blades, and as such have dynamic angles, starting shallow in the rear of the blade, and becoming slightly steeper toward the tip.

Return/exchange policy:

I do not accept returns or exchanges, all sales are final. If you have a problem however, please feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to help how I can.
