Cutlass

Based upon a handful of historical examples, this cutlass is made up of 5160 with mild steel fittings and a stabilized redwood handle. Handle construction is fully glued and soldered together, with a nut that goes into the pommel to tighten it all together, this is not a takedown construction.

with this being a carbon steel be sure to give it a touch of oil from time to time or it will rust.
