Briar pipe, “the nose warmer”

Sculpted completely freehand out of briar and vulcanite for the stem, I left this one completely natural so that as you smoke it and hold it, the tobacco and oils from your hands will slowly darken it, giving a rich, dark finish that while I can approximate that finish closely-ish, I can never truly replicate it, or the unique characteristics that it will develop specifically because of how you use and take care of it. I’m firmly of the belief that there is no finish quite as beautiful as time.
